Our Country Park is open daily from 9am – 5pm, with extended weekend hours until 6pm from Saturday 26th June – Sunday 8th August. During the school Summer break (Friday 25th June – Monday 16th August) we will require pre-booking for admission.
(Season ticket holders are not required to book).
To ensure the safety of all our visitors and to limit numbers visiting us at one time, arrival time slots are every half hour. Time slots are shown in a list – please ensure you scroll down to see all available arrival times. It is important that you arrive within 30 minutes of your time slot – eg. if you have chosen the 9am time slot you should arrive between 9am – 9.30am.
You are required to book in advance for weekend visits, bank holidays and school holiday periods. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors there are limited ticket numbers for each day and arrival time slot. This is important to prevent over-crowding at busy times. If you arrive without a ticket we cannot guarantee that we will have sufficient places available.
To purchase your tickets please go to our Online Box Office here https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/brechin-castle-centre
Please ensure you read our terms and conditions and check that your order is correct. If you have made an error while booking please advise us immediately.
We highly recommend pre-booking online for weekend and school holiday visits. We cannot guarantee entry should you arrive without a pre-booked ticket. In this case you will be referred to the ticket store to make your purchase.
All online tickets are our standard admission price (plus a small booking fee paid to Ticket Source). Please ensure you select the correct ticket for your needs.

All tickets are non-refundable unless the park is required to close. The person named on the ticket does not have to be the person attending – tickets can be passed to friends or family members. If you are unable to attend on your booked date please let us know at least 48 hours before your booking. We will do our best to offer you a suitable alternative day/time slot.
At the time of booking if you have chosen to take out ticket insurance through Ticket Source & Booking Protect, please ensure you have read the associated Terms & Conditions thoroughly to ensure you understand what you are/are not covered for. Please note – this insurance cover is not with Brechin Castle Centre and as such we are not liable for any claims relating to this policy.

If you have lost your tickets you can reprint them at any time using the e-ticket link in your confirmation email.
Confirmation emails containing your tickets are usually received within 5 minutes of the booking being placed. If you have not received your confirmation email please check your junk folder. If you still cannot locate your confirmation email please email email@example.com with details of your booking.
If we are required by the Scottish Government to close the park attendees will be notified as soon as possible using the email address used to book tickets, and a full refund including your booking fee will be issued. Updates will also be posted on our website and social media channels.

We have a range of safety measures in place to protect our visitors and staff.
We have strictly limited the number of tickets available and created staggered check-ins to ensure social distancing can be maintained. Our staff are sanitising surfaces regularly, however you will also find sanitising stations around our centre and park for your use, along with hand sanitiser gel dispenser points.
In our centre, along with sanitiser dispensers, we have installed a 1-way system. We request that all visitors (unless exempt) wear a mask or face covering when in any indoor area.
All of our toilet facilities, both indoor and out, must only be used by 1 person or household at any time.
We ask that all visitors take every precaution and follow all government guidance while attending our park. Please remember that although this is an outdoor space you must still observe the minimum social distancing regulations and stay 2 metres apart from anyone who is not a member of your household.
You will find green first aid signs around our park with a telephone number to call should you require medical assistance. If you cannot find a first aid sign please call our centre phone number or alert a member of staff.
As per Scottish Government guidance, it is mandatory for all visitors (unless exempt) to wear a mask or face covering when in any indoor areas. Access to the country park is via the main building. Please ensure you bring a face covering with you. Once outside you may remove your mask.

One of our newer additions to the park is this 9-hole crazy golf course. Can you get the ball up the ramps, round the corners, negotiate the horses and toadstools, through the helter-skelter and lighthouse over the bridge, and out through the castle?
You can find our golf course just outside the entrance to the park.
Enjoy some outdoor fun with all the family & explore Brechin Castle Centre Fairy Trail. Using the activity booklet solve the clues and questions to make your way round each point on our trail (booklets are free for all paying children).
Keep your eyes peeled for well disguised woodland friends. Only those that believe in fairies might be lucky enough to spot them.
Please wear appropriate footwear as you will be passing through woodland areas. Unfortunately our trail is not suitable for wheelchairs & double buggies.
Great fun for children and adults alike – try our exciting sledge run and see who can go fastest. Will it be Mum, Dad or the kids?
Tire out the kids (and the big kids) – whizz down the run then run back up the path to the top and down you go again.
Suitable for most age groups.
There’s loads in our Courtyard to keep the kids entertained.
They can head over to the tractor garage, choose their tractor and trailer, fuel up at the petrol pump, then off they go round our track and over the humpback bridge.
They can have fun with our water play area or let their creativity flow with our flower and tree chalkboards. They can even have a go at milking Brenda our cow! With a climbing prism and tower with slide too, there’s sure to be something they will love to do in our courtyard.
There’s no need to stop having fun to eat. Enjoy hot or cold drinks, Cream O’ Galloway ice-cream, and a range of snacks at our outdoor food unit. We have a seating area overlooking the fun and also picnic benches dotted around the park for you to use. The food unit is open from 10am – 4pm, weekends and holidays (weather dependent).
We’ve provided lots of new picnic tables and benches for your to use if you would prefer to bring along your own food from home. Tables are conveniently placed near to all the action too.
